Kandi is from our repeat breeding of Ivanhoe and Josi. This sweet girl is a bundle of muscle and affection! She has a lovely headpiece accented with kohl pigmentation, a magnificently deep chest and swanlike neck.
Kandi was leased to Mary Childs (Wind 'n Satin) and Ahryn Rowlette for a litter in late 2007, resulting in the birth of two girl pups in April 2008, one of which (Oreo) won Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the September 2008 Georgia specialties.
Kandi gave birth to our M-Band Litter in June 2009.
In July 2011 Kandi became one of the first Silken Windhounds in Texas to earn a UKC Championship (along with her nephew Gabe). She is the second Silken Windhound to earn a UKC Grand Championship and was the #1 Silken Windhound for the year 2011 - the first year that Silkens were eligible to compete in UKC.
